Nic strength

I know its a personal choice and everyone is different when it come to their preferred nic strength but I'd be interested to learn what strength some of you use and how long you have been vaping. I'm down to anything between 8mg and 4mg depending on where I buy my juice..

1 year, 18mg, which is what I've vaped almost from the beginning. When I reduced the strength 2 months in I just vaped more, so I went back. Time I tried to cut back again probably.

14 months, mix my juices between 10-18mg but mostly vape about 18mg during the day, 12mg on an evening. You're doing well at low nic levels - nice one!

Thanks for your replies. I was using 18 then 12mgs but found I had the shakes a lot so have come down the strengths and now only low nics.. I do get a sore throat and like a numbness or frog in the throat sometimes and was wondering if thats VG?? I'm not very savy with all of this

I'm usually on 18mg up to 24mg, i've been vaping for over 5 years.

i've no intention of cutting nic down or out altogether, quite happy with what i'm doing as it's kept me off cigs all these years, and i really do love the whole vaping experience

The low nic level with me could also have something to do with the fact that I only ever smoked menthol stinkies so they are pretty low in nicotine compared to normal ones

Lol, Susie, yep, and i thought i'd end up getting bored with my first (cig a like) Intellicig kit and it would probably end up in the bin, lol, how wrong was i??

Vaping has come such a long way since i started in the days of the DSE 901 (which i still have and use now and again) and the Screwdriver mod (which was out of my price range at approx £100) it's amazing just what there is around now, and how many of us vapers there are.

I've been vaping 10 months, and started on 18mg (with a brief foray into 24mg territory - too strong!), and now mix my own at 12mg, sometimes 10mg. My target is to get down to about 6mg, and then if I have to stop altogether, thewrench will be minimal.
I prefer sweet flavours, with my favourite being a tweak on Perp's Vanilla Custard (PVC), and some fruit and white chocolate recipes.

Anything from 12(ish)mg to 24mg for me Susie . . . it's only occasionally I use the high strength, when I've not got time or working. At home then I chug to my hearts content.

But I smoked 40/50 cigarettes a day and still never felt satisfied on that number.

Though I've come to the conclusion that it's the hand to mouth/vapour that's just as important to me as getting a nic fix.

Just over 3 years for me . . . like Cheralynn, I've seen huge advances and fantastic improvements in the variety of equipment. The reliability has improved massively as well, despite the occasional problems that still occur.

Couldn't get hold of a Screwdriver for love nor money myself, they were the Holy Grail of vaping then, how times have changed.

I started on 30mg around 5 mths ago, my main vape is 24mg with 20mg for evenings. I do occasionally vape 30mg if I know I can't vape very often driving for instance.

I aim to get down to around 12mg by the end of the year as my evening vape level.

I have no aim to cut down any. I vape around 15mg

Just over 2 years, started on 36mg, now mix at 18mg. No plans to change that at the moment.

I have been vaping 100 day's, started on 18mg @70pg/30vg, now mix my own at 15mg @50/50; but my next mix I am going to try 12mg.

I've been vaping for 4 days, and still loving the 36mg. That said, I am chugging on a 11mg cherry and I'm loving it. But I suspect I'll vape that a lot more.
