I don't have any of them, but I've been thinking about them. This put me off the erlkoenigin - I hate a whistle. And the squape filling process doesn't sound great. And the rose doesn't hold any more than my kayfun, and is reported to be more faff to set up. So I'm thinking they aren't worth all that money.

I passed the 2 year point a week or so back and didn't even notice. How about that?

I use vodka at 5%, but on a similar thread elsewhere people said they used tapwater, and weren't dead (yet ???).

Thanks ruffdog, I have one of those. It doesn't work well, so I used the copper wire method - actually with a strand from a 'steel wool' cleaning pad because I don't have any copper wire here. It works OK but is a bit fiddly because you have to do it each time you change the atty.

I just ordered a new SS vamo after the threads died on the last one & no top caps in stock anywhere, but I dunno if it has the new firmware or not. Got it from ebay, JDD4 for £27-99 delivered next day. If it doesn't have the new firmware is the difference worth the return postage & maybe extra cost? I guess the last one was old firmware, seemed OK until the threads died.
Also, I'm wondering if part of the problem is that SS vamo + kayfun weighs a fair bit, so if you knock it over it hits with a fair thump. Anyone know if the chrome is any lighter? And whether the chrome survives better than it used to with the V2?

Good god, didn't you use to have a spare pack of fags in the car? My car has a mod, battery, clearo & juice. And that's not my only emergency stash.

So just for arguments sake lets say myself using 1.5ohm coils and somebody using a 2.5 ohm coil. Would the 2.5ohm coil be very noticeably better for battery life ? Jay If you used the same volts for both, yes, the 2.5 would be much better. If you used the same watts, it would be the same, give or take different battery efficiency at different power levels.

I've used a lot of their chocolate because it seemed as good as anyone else's and rather cheaper, which I mix with peppermint - originally theirs but now usually silver spoon - and a touch of ccw coconut all at 20%. I find it needs a few drops of Bitter Wizard. A couple of months back I bought some chocolate mint from Vapours-R-Us which I think delivers a similar vape and works out a lot cheaper because 10% is strong enough for me. But not everybody likes it - see.

mowjo Like they say, don't mix large amounts to begin with - not 30ml and 10ml, just do 3ml and 1ml. I reckon you are going to be mixing from scratch before you are through, so you might as well get yourself a syringe or two to do the measuring, and some bottles if you haven't got any empties. I got mine from the Alchemists Cupboard but that was yonks ago and there may be cheaper places now.
