I was looking at the same choice a month back and picked the vamo v5. The zmax seemed to have more problems, and they were more often fatal.
What fails on the vamo is the connector, which you can fix, and the threads, which you can't, but you can get a replacement cap for the v5. I don't think either will go if you are careful. The connector on my v2 was killed by a spring-loaded vivi nova and the threads when I dropped it once too often. My home vape is a kayfun clone on the v5, and I screw the vamo ring up to meet the kayfun so when I do drop it the 510 threads don't take the strain. I guess that wouldn't work if your clearo or whatever has the air-hole at the bottom rather than at the side.

It's only hand luggage, so only applies to whatever you plan to use in any smoking/vaping area at the airport and your stealth device.

When I have a sore throat I use a mix with max VG and Mentholyptus flavour (I got it from Liberty Flights). It doesn't cure the throat, but it is a more comfortable vape.

I've had one of these for years They deliver an adjustable high heat flame. I find that the pen style is much easier to use than the pistol grip blow torches. Perfect for heating coils and wire. Around the £2.50 mark on Fleabay. Do you have three hands osdset? I got one of those and decided you need three hands to use it for coiling, and went back to the gas hob. One day I'll buy one with a proper trigger.

Looks like a one-off to me, probably down to the plastic it came in.
Better in a fridge or freezer or at least in the dark @johanino. Some research has been done, nicotine does degrade slowly over time and dark and cold slow that down.

to the forum hotshot, but I have to say that personally I wouldn't recommend vaping to a non-smoker with even mild asthma. Not enough information yet about any effect it might have. Sure, if its been fine so far then it is probably OK, but I wouldn't have thought that "probably" was good enough.

The more I look the more questions I have (been there before) Is it better to get 72mg nic and obviously thin it down more, or 36mg nic and thin it less, what works out the most economical or are there other reasons for the difference, I'm aiming for around 10mg nic at the end and another little aside, eventually I intend getting down to 0 nic, do you then just do a VG/PG mix with your desired flavouring There's no particular reason why it should be more economical one way or the other, except that VG is pretty cheap from your local Boots and you don't have to pay postage. But there is a case for buying high strength because a) low-strength limits your options more on the PG/VG mix unless you buy both PG-based and VG-based and b) if the eurocrats prevent anybody selling more than 24mg you may want some strong nic available if you like to vape anything over about 18mg or your chosen flavouring is a bit weak. Yes, that is what you do to approach 0 nic. FlavourArt used to do something called Bitextra which was supposed to give the throat hit without the nicotine, don't know if they still do.

So why is an MVP referred to as a mod all the time? Some people seem to call things mods if they have screens to tell you the resistance of your atty etc. Personally I'd rather the word was only used for things you can replace the batteries in, but there's nobody who controls the language about these things.

Spinner + iclear 16 will give you a nice vape, but it won't do much for you if the government gets seriously vicious with ecig users.
Maybe someone should start an apocalypse thread. But in the meantime:
Most serious problem is juice, if you use strength higher than 20 mg (or mix your own). You'll need to stock up on nicotine, normally bought from the US at 72mg, preferably kept in glass bottles in the freezer. A litre will probably last you 3 years or so and won't take up too much space in the freezer. After that runs out you'll have to smuggle it. And of course if you don't know how to mix you'll need to learn, which I'd recommend anyway. It isn't difficult, will save you money, and you'll be able to tailor your juice to your personal taste.
The government might prevent the sale of devices like egos, spinners, clearos etc., though personally I doubt it. They won't prevent the sale of the general purpose batteries that go inside mods. You could build a large stock of spinners, but such things don't last forever even when not being used, so better buy some mods. I recommend starting with an electronic mod like a vamo, as they are handy when building coils, but if you are seriously worried about an apocalypse you'll probably want mechanical mods because they are cheaper and less likely to go wrong. You need to do some research before you use them though.
You can rebuild the iclear 16 heads but I doubt if anyone does that more than about once because it is so much hassle. Bottom coil clearos like the evod and mini protank are easier (and the vape is great). Better still, get something which is designed to be rebuilt, like a kayfun or genesis-style atty. They will also survive better, and if you develop some post-apocalypse skills in sourcing rubber rings, drilling out screws etc, you'll be able to make them last almost forever.

650maxDoesn't sound like PG to me either, but no harm in trying a VG juice, although VG does tend to clog the atty up a bit faster than PG. I also mix my own these days, but I used to like NUCIG who are VG only. I wouldn't buy anything other than juice from them.

I think I'll vote ukip. It won't make any difference to anything (wouldn't vote for them if I thought it would) except that it sends a message.
