Why (other than a shake out an wipe externally) do you lot dry them? Have you ever tasted that denture stuff?
I must admit des, a quick wipe with some tissue, a quick fire before reassembly just to check the coil still works, and then fill up & off we go. I never really understood the whole drying thing? Surely when you heat water you get - uuuuhhhhh - oh yeah, vapour ???

Sorry, fred The carto was a Boge standard resistance No probs mate - It was probably something I'd never have thought of trying, but now, I'm happy to vape it all day long - no thinking, "hmmmm, what shall I vape now, that didn't cut it!" Now I just need to know the 2 things: - I guess the flavour/vapour from a Boge SR carto will be the same with or without a tank?
- Will the flavour/vapour from a Protank be as good as a Boge SR carto?
Karma - I've read all the reviews/discussions on fastech, and somewhere, I think someone said they come from Smok, but don't have the branding. Also, the silver one apparently is a Smok one that has had SMOK photo-shopped out The AGR+ is a bit pricey if I don't get on with it. As for pre-punched cartos, is 1 '2.3mm' hole or 2 '1 mm' hole better for 50/50 (can vary to 80/20 though with experiments) juice? Got a metal drip tip, but if I order from FT, can chuck a few in the basket. Still waiting to hear about the protank though, as rewicking would be better for me over the long term. (If I don't spend anything this week, I'll break even on Sunday ) Thanks you two, for your help so far, and extra thanks to sleepy for the pluid

Cleaning? Eh? Oh yeah, I remember writing this somewhere before - just wipe it on your t-shirt But if it gets really bad, a good overnight soak with a cheapy denture tablet does the trick And to answer your first question: Don't run it under the tap while you're using it

OK, so I blame sleepyduck for this - afterall, it was him who sent me the Pluid
After discovering 2 things: - An aniseed based juice could be my all day vape (I've vaped nothing else for a week, now)
- Pluid 'melted' my drip tip
I got some anise & absinthe flavours, and am VERY happy with my alchemy. However, I realise that the carto I have will not last forever, and also it's a pain to keep filling it up. I have a few 'chivods' from fasttech, but am loathed to use one for fear of cracking or melting, so I believe I have 2 options: Fasttech do both - protank is definitely kanger, and it's probable, that the pyrex DCT is Smoktech. I'm on a VERY tight budget this month (car insurance due along with everything else) As I see it, I will continually need a supply of new cartos for the DCT, whereas I could rewick the protank, which is leaning me towards the protank. Would a protank give me as much flavour/vapour as the carto (not sure what sort, it came from sleepyduck with the pluid )? Any input, or alternatives would be much appreciated.

Check that the rubber grommet if fully pushed down.If that doesnt work, carefully lift it off.Remove the center pin - may need pliers.Add a piece of 1mm or 2mm wick (or cotton wool?) on top of the existing wick/coil.Carefully reassemble.
The other thing I've just thought about - the new heads MAY be slightly too short - & the grommet may not be locating properly inside the body, against the bottom of the mouthpiece If this is the case, you'll need to contact your vendor. (You could try cutting a piece from the old grommet from the old head, and placing on top of the grommet, but it's hard to explain what I mean, and possibly too complicated?)

Sounds like too much juice is getting through.
Is the rubber grommet/cap thingy pushed right down against the top of the wick?
If so, do you have a little bit of 1mm or 2mm wick you could place on top of the existing wick (under the rubber bit) [or failing that, you could even try a small bit of cotton wool?]
But as mark said, try another wick, if you have one - then you'll know if its the wick or the evod.

derekArgos do these - they're just over an inch in diameter If they're not what you're after, a mini-lavatube (along with many other mods) is the diameter I believe you're wanting, but just the same length as an 1100 ego battery - it takes a single 18350 battery, and lasts a good few hours. Alternatively, get a plinth (or as our friends at fasttech call them a "beauty ring") which makes stuff look OK on a Riva/ego battery

Perpetua KarmaSorry ladies - thought it was a 'purple' forum name I associated with the diabetes/stevia thing - oh well, can't have been Still, I think Ancient Hermit has the info he needs from the links provided.
Aaaaahhhhh! Just realised my mistake - Perpetua posted this thread, which now I have looked again, is actually info from Frogster (The Alchemist), who is, according to the thread, indeed diabetic and uses stevia as a sweetner!

Check on stevia I am sure its sold for diabetics. Ancient HermitYep get some stevia. I'm sure Perpetua or Karma is diabetic, and happily uses stevia. As they're both tagged, I'm sure the main culprit will be along to give you a definitive answer.

I plumped for one of these. Would have been rude not to at the price. Not had any problems with it so far - great flavour and vapour compared to clearos. Not had to rewick it yet, but I don't see it being too much of a problem. Might just be obliged to order an igo-l now

Ancient Hermit - I would guess that you'd be fine putting these in cooking, especially cakes They vape nicely as well.

Didn't notice a kanger evod on your list? Definetly worth a shout. The evod seems to be a strange one, everyone seems to know of it ( even me ) but whilst some rave about it others hate it, I'm not sure why. I figured if I put it on the list it would probably be 50/50 best ever/ load of rubbish lol. The ones on the list I have heard are good, but only perhaps by the person reviewing them which is why I would like a broader look at them. Marmite?
For the record, I like both Marmite & EVODs What was the problem with the CE5s for you to go through so many in such a short time? I've got a vision v3 and a blister-pack CE5 - no probs with them, & they're easy to rewick/recoil (as are evods).
