I've gone for the SVD - Was sold on it's looks and think it's right up there with the best VV/VW mods out there
The Evic is the beginning of a new breed of PC connectable mods. I've just got a feeling that there is more to come from manufacturers as they poach the good bits and improve on the Evic.
TZMAX - Looks good too (So I went for the Ehpro one in the coop)

I've tried refilling my Jacvapour ones the recommended way too, and they just don't seem to last very long at all, like maybe a few hours, and even then they're not that great as when they were bought filled Having said that, I'm only new to vaping and this is my first time trying to refill anything, is it typical that refilling is a bit crap or have I clearly done it wrong? Congratulations valeyard you've discovered one of the myths of vaping that was, I guess, invented by some dubious ecig seller. One carto is nowhere near the equivalent of 20 cigarettes. If you are the same as me then you'll be vaping a lot (Far more often than you smoked cigarettes) So getting a few hours out of a carto is normal. I found the key to successfully refilling a carto is patience, really give the juice time to soak into the filler. One tip I read somewhere to speed it up is to poke a pin down into the filler, being careful not to damage the coil down at the bottom, this gives the liquid more room to soak right down to the base. I'm also surprised at the amount of liquid a carto can take - Keep on dripping and turning until they can't take it anymore - And remember to wipe off the connection threads. I've generally got 3 cartos on the go at one time - So I can try different flavours and always have a fresh carto ready when the one I'm using gets dry. Finally if you're not smoking cigarettes then you're doing great

I use jacvapour cartos and using both methods works (For me) I like the condom method to make sure the bottom of the carto gets juice and then drip from the top to keep the filler moist. Maybe I'm vaping a lot but do find myself dripping into them quite often.
Having also tried a dripping atomiser (On an Ego styley thing) the cartos aren't that great using VG based juices but for everything else they are my daytime vape. (Until the TZMax makes an appearance)
I also recommend getting some low resistance cartos as I have really noticed an improved flavour and more vapour

Shivers
I've got a mod on order from the US
If it comes down to it I'm not going to grumble too much about paying import tax (They are shiney after all)
Having spoken to the vendor they are happy to send it anyway I ask.
Does anyone have any tips for getting goods through customs
e.g saying they are samples or a gift?

This has got me a little worried too as I've got an SVD on order.
Seems to me that a lot of mass produced mods have quality control issues (Vamo springs)
Todd just did an SVD review and didn't mention the loose threads and his looked like a production model (It had a black button)
Can't believe I've been vaping 10 weeks and already sound like a mod geek!

Mixing seems to have the edge at the moment.
Thanks for the input

Evening all
As I fall deeper into vape obsession the decisions are getting harder
Option1 - Get in on the TZmax Co-op. Looks great and I don't really know how often deals like that come up. Figure I'd regret it.
Option2 - Buy a start up DIY mixing kit. Would this be a cure for my shiny-itis? Or would I then have to cope with a mixing addition. Long term it has to be a good idea BUT I can always buy this next month.
Option3 - Buy nothing. I've only been vaping a couple of months and have enough devices/juice to last until May - Who knows what could be available then? And I'd have twice as much to spend.
Option4 - Put the money saved into an 'I want a Billet Box/Provari/Mosaic Stick' savings jar
What do all the good fellows in vapeland think?

There must be something in the air as I've switched to menthol tonight.
Welcome to the forum
Hope to see you in the Mixology section as I'm thinking of taking up DIY liquids myself

Looks good.
I've barely started vaping and already find myself digging through my shoe box to find bits
Then I managed to mix up all my carto's so now I have to play a form of Russian-Vape-Roulette each time I screw one one.

Eeek First I see that Innokin may have changed the threading on the SVD Now the IClear may have to be tinkered with Was hoping those two were going to form the foundation of my daily vape "First I see that Innokin may have changed the threading on the SVD" where did you see that Pezz? PezzHi Robby Oddly from Mr GrimmGreen who had a pre-release one for review and has just done a follow up after he bought one. I couldn't work out how to link the video itself but it's quite high up on his start page GrimmGreen
