If you're feeling adventurous, you could go for an Aga-S genny. I have one on my e-pipe - but then you'll be into the world of rebuildables, so you'll need wire, wick, and something to check your resistance, so at the very least a multi-meter.

My routine is quite a bit different. I'm fortunate enough to live alone, so I've set up a permanent mixing station in my airing cupboard - all the necessaries are on the shelves in front of me. I don't use a recipe calculator, either. I have a log book where I note every ingredient, as it goes into every mix.
It helps that I always aim for 16mg and 50/50 PG/VG. Keeping in mind my target quantity, I'll start with the flavours, reckoning the total proportion of flavour in the juice, and subdivide that into flavour ingredients. Then the nic base, nearly always the same strength, so I know the quantities. At that point, I have a total of PG ingredients, which are topped up to 50% of the final quantity with PG, then add the remaining 50% VG.
For small quantities, I mix straight into the bottle. If I'm doing 30ml or more, I use a whiskey glass, and a milk frother to blend it all at the end, then syringe it into whatever container it's going to steep in.
After that, washing up, everything dried and put away in its usual place.
(edit: forgot to mention, I don't do my labels until I've finished, and I know what I've actually made, as opposed to what I was planning to make.)

Either it's gone up in price since you took that screengrab, robby, or something rather alarming is happening to the exchange rates. I'm seeing £16.87...

Druid's Brew Bread of Heaven, definitely - the most interesting juice I've tried so far. Mrs Lord's Seville Marmalade Halcyon Haze Sweet Prudence T-Juice Red Astaire and Afro Dizziac
- and my own Peach & Apricot Tobacco (still refining this, will post the recipe after another iteration or two)

Sal, if some of the atties which wouldn't work before are now working, then the problem with the Vamo is solved (for now), and you should look at the connectors of the atties which still aren't working.
I've just taken a Protank 3 off the eGo battery where it usually lives, and found the centre pin in the 510 connector has pushed up a way into the atty. Remedy: pull the centre pin back down a couple of mm - just enough to bring the centre pin level with the threading, or very slightly protruding. If you have a good pair of tweezers or needle nose pliers, they will do it. The end of a straightened, heavy-duty paperclip will also serve the purpose

I spent my first six months using a cig-alike and pre-filled, generic tobacco flavour "high strength" (16mg!) cartos - the way most of us started, of course. It was more pleasant to me than smoking, and it was cheaper, and I was never tempted to go back - but it wasn't "vaping", as I currently undertand it; it was just a substitute for smoking. So I'd put smoking six months behind me when I started vaping. I vaped at 16mg because I already knew I could cope, without stress, at that level, and I haven't changed that in the nearly five months since. I'm mixing about half of the juice I vape, but when I buy commercial juice, I get it at 24mg and dilute to 16 or 18mg, according to flavour strength. Occasionally, I feel like a palpable nicotine rush, and I'll fill a dripper with 24mg, those occasions are increasingly rare, and I never feel like I need more than one dripper's worth of that. I wouldn't discount the possibility that I'll edge my nic strength down, but I doubt I'll ever take it to zero, and I'm not in any hurry. It isn't broken, so why fix it? I'm much more interested in improving / optimizing the experience.

Euch! Fruit?!!! lol It's just baccy flavours, someone else who knows what they're doing is making some caramel for me. Don't knock it til you've tried it enjay Some of the flavours I thought I'd never like have turned out to be some of my favourites (so far!) The DIY mix I get get through the most of is a Peach & Apricot Tobacco. I always have some in one atty or another, and I've just made up my fourth batch...

I'd let tobacco flavours steep at least a couple of weeks before evaluating your mix, preferably more. If you're mixing fruit flavours with tobaccos, the fruit will dominate at first, but the tobacco will come through over time.

The top cap on my Igo was extremely difficult to shift when it first arrived. Once you've got it apart (I'd follow the advice from vereybowring above), try removing one of the o-rings. Just one holds the cap in place perfectly happily, and you shouldn't have the same problem again.

If there is one, I'll be there - but the venues you mention sound a bit pricey (did I say "a bit"?). Licensed premises generally have been really hammered by the smoking ban, as we know, so I would expect there would be a social club somewhere who would be glad of the custom?

Okay. The 2mm designation for Ekowool is the *internal* diameter of the woven tube, whereas 2mm silica refers to the thickness of the twisted cord. So 2mm Ekowool is actually quite a bit thicker than 2mm silica. This isn't something you would know until you have examples of both in front of you. I think the Ekowool is probably a bit too fat for a Protank head, which would explain the tighter draw. I'd suggest you try silica - either 2mm or 1mm doubled.
