I use Efest IMR's for both regulated and mech mods . Very good , very reliable , no issues ever. I agree - 100% My original 4 x 18650 are still going strong after about 2 years of heavy usage.

Was that before or after you vaped in Heathrow teethcv LOL Gatwick is (are?) very relaxed about vaping. Last time I looked at their website it said that basically you can vape anywhere it's not specifically forbidden. Incidentally, I bought a reel of Kanthal resistance wire from Germany (found on [UK] eBay). Excellent value, and only took about 3 days to arrive!

... Needless to say, I'm still waiting for mine. Fasttech. *sigh* just splash out £ 1.59 and get those ones for now I've got an ancient pair of Adson's tissue forceps which I rescued from the bin and straightened after they fell on the theatre floor. Unfortunately they have a very fine tip, so I plan to ditch them once my (shiny!) new ones arrive. I've actually got quite a few old surgical instruments, some of which have proved very useful over the years. (e.g. curved mosquito artery forceps make a great heat sink when doing delicate soldering)

Nitecore i2 may be slow to charge the 18650s but I don't think you could find a better charger I was worried someone might say that! I'm going to have to schedule my life around charging the 26650s when I get them Just a thought, BrenD, but won't the 26650s last twice as long? If so, why would the longer charging time matter? - jus' sayin'

Some OK 2.4% (commercial) grape, topped up to 3.5% with 7% nic in VG and a splash of orange tic-tac. Very nice indeed.
Oh, and watching Andy Murray marmalize Rafa in the 1st set. Also very nice...

Well done, seniorphil - sounds really interesting. Let's hope they maintain impartiality... 'Black Beauty', eh - I can hear that theme music as I type

Yes, I looked at that one, dagl, but I fancied the extra length (oo-er, missus!) and the bend on the one I opted for. Can't wait! (can wait - it's Fasttech )

I fancied a wooden one, monty, but was seduced by this (pukka) SmokTech: Coupled with this extra-long driptip (which I shall buff to a shiny finish) Now, I know it's Fasttech, but it's cheap as chips and I'm a very, very patient purchaser...

True, I'm afraid, @jerri. Presumably it's to prevent the user from inserting it the wrong way round.

Stainless steel mesh works very well for me. Yes, making one is a bit of a faff, but they last for months with minimal maintenance.

Hi intheblim, I found a very handy guide to Kanthal wire here Very informative & not too technical;) Incidentally, eBay has a few German sellers who will flog you a 100m reel for around £15 - should be enough for a decade or so...

Is the eucalyptus in an oil base, scotsman?
If so, I would personally avoid it. Vaping oil can be seriously bad for your health.

I just use a small blob of blutack on the side of the spool - works a treat.
