The Vamo V5 has an easy menu system, but is probably not as well made as the Innokin device. You might also consider the Innokin SVD, or if you like box mods the Innokin VTR.

Calm down folks, this topic is getting out of hand Shame the Vaping King website is shut for Christmas - this could have generated a fair bit of trade.

The suggested kit is a good place to start - far better than the ciga like kits (e-lites, skycig, v2 cig etc.) because the batteries last far longer, you can easily and cheaply refill the clearomisers, and you will get a much better hit. You will probably find that you will need to charge each battery just once per day. You will also need to get some eliquid (juice) and I would suggest a couple of different 10ml tobacco ones to get going with. Depending on how much you currently smoke I would start with 18mg nicotine and adjust this up or down depending on how this satisfies your craving. The search for the ideal juice will be your ongoing quest, but don't expect it to be exactly like the fags that you are trying to give up. Don't worry if you can't completely pack in the fags to start with - just keep a count of the fags you have stopped smoking. I have to admit that even though I've been vaping for over six weeks, I still have one rollup at the end of each day. But it's better than the 20 a day I have smoked for the last 48 years.

Halo juice available in the UK from Vapetime, and also I believe from VapeGeek. As with all juice being subjective I would only get a minimum quantity to start with.

I've got King's Custard and Monkey Jizz on order from Vaping King, so will let you know what I think in due course. Never tried a custard juice before so have nothing to compare it with, but hopefully it will make a pleasant change. Both king custard and monkey jizz are both great juices, they are in my top 5. As you were offloading some Red Astaire recently we may have similiar tastebuds so could be good news for me then - don't know if I'll have the patience to steep it for a month !

Well if the ban is like the cigarette one ignored by some of the Spanish bars I've been to, there won't be a problem.
Off at a tangent, but there are restaurants in Germany where it is legal to smoke cigarettes in the bar area, if it's separate to the eating area. Discovered this by accident earlier this year on one of my long caravan jaunts.

I'm also currently in the process of researching mech mods and there seems to be a lot of lovely shiny kit out there, and zillions of both positive and negative reviews on each of them. And there are clones, and clones of clones. It's easy to see why - the genuine items are exceedingly expensive, whereas you only pay a fraction of the price for a clone, and some of them differ very little from the genuine item. Personally I will be going for a clone to start with and if I like it I might consider lashing out on the real thing later. Also, I've decided not to bother with the likes of SlowTech and VapourBreak and buy my clone from a UK retailer. It will cost more but I believe it will be easier to deal with any problems that may arise. Finally, it may seem a cop out, but I will go for a regulated mod - which means getting a Kick as well, which obviously adds to the cost, especially if you buy a decent Evolv one. Then of course you need to make sure that your chosen mod can take a Kick, with your preferred battery sizes. The downside of using a Kick is that it will not be possible to use sub-ohm coils. See Grimm Green's Video on Unregulated VapingPersonally I don't like the look of telescopic mods, although they do easily deal with the issue of fitting a Kick, so my intended mod will be the HCigar Nemesis mod, which is not telescopic but does come with a small extra tube to accomodate a Kick. I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't get on with Red Astaire. Good luck with your sale.

However, if you look at PBusardo's review of either the VAMO or SVD he shows that both devices perform at their best with stacked 18350s.
