When I wrote to one of the lib dem MEPS last year, I got a reply asking if he could come and visit E Liquid Labs. It was agreed, date and time set. We made an effort that day, to welcome him and he didnt turn up. No phone call, email or anything. It was very disappointing. I wrote to his office to find out what happened and was told by an aide that it had been missed in his diary, but would rearrange it. Never heard anymore from him. But felt quite put out to be stood up like that.
I get the feeling with alot of MPs/MEPs etc that their support for any cause seems to be based on what will suit them. They show support for things that are going to help their cause one way or another. UKIP for example always use ecigs to promote their push to leave the eu, that said they have been very supportive, but still it feels somewhat for their own benefit you know. The lib dems I think we will never know what went on behind the scenes to make them back down. My conservative mp was never supportive, he made it clear he wanted full med regs. He wasnt interested, I dont think it suited his public profile image to be involved, he prefers to be seen doing less controversial stuff. One things for sure, I doubt we will ever get any honest answers from politicians.
Its going to be interesting to see what happens in UK when it gets implemented here. I wonder who will be the competent authority given the responsibility to police it, I am thinking trading standards. At least we have the likes of viscount ridley here talking some sense.

i remember when they first banned smoking on airplanes, I was on my way to Majorca and tried to have a crafty one in the loo. Set the smoke alarm off and got in alot of trouble (shameful..but I was v.young at the time...thats my excuse). I wonder when some bright spark will invent a vape detector!!

3.8ml of 54mg nic base or 2.7ml 72mg nic base added to that would make 6mg/ml e liquid. It will dilute the flavour a little bit, but only v.slightly as its not big quantities. You could always add a drop of extra flav I calculated that using www.eliquidlabs/calculator/ by considering the existing 0mg ejuice to be a diluent. You can see that when making 33.8ml eliquid using 54mg nic base, 30ml of diluent is required. Making 32.7ml of eliquid using 72mg nic base, 30ml of diluent is required. The diluent in this case being the 0mg ejuice you have.

Its one of the arguments against the proposed 10ml size limit on eliquid bottles. Currently larger amounts are often in glass bottles that can be recycled, but if everyone has to buy 10ml plastic bottles it will make so much waste.

Not all the queued comments have been posted! I didn't really say anything more controversial than that I have now, for the first time in over forty years, stopped being a smoker and really don't want to be forced back into it - I'm an addict, I know I can't give up nicotine, the approved methods haven't worked, vaping seems to have done the trick. Why are they blocking comments? The comments that showed up were posted last night I think. Maybe they only do a few at a time. I am not sure how they are moderating the comments there. But those from yesterday just suddenly showed up all at once late afternoon. its odd, but maybe its manually moderated and the moderator has limited time and is doing a few at a time. I hope it shows up later tomorrow or something.

You can opt out of targetted ads by yahoo google etc (mostly they are google i think and there is an option in your g a/c settings to turn them off) More details hereBy the way, currently in development are screens on streets that will also display targetted ads as you walk past....lol....imagine how embarassing if you have been searching for haemorroid treatments or the like..suddenly everyone on the high street will know it! more info on that here

The expert group whose advice she says she follows, have all been outed in The Times, as having vested interests. Shares in various pharma companies that produce products such as nicorette and champix. There is no way that the advice received was anything but bias, due to the clear vested interests of those involved, so there is nothing reassuring about her letter at all. Maybe you could show your MP the article in the times that gives the names and details of the vested interests of the expert panel she refers to. www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/business/industries/consumer/article3852342.eceUnfortunately the article can ony be viewed with a sub to the times, but it is worth a read. I hope the article is published in the hard copy of the paper.

I dont know, but it is not necessarily related to nicotine, especially seeing as you said this is lower strength than previously. I think it might be due to the menthol, as menthol has an effect on the sinuses, and that can have an effect on how the head feels.
Obviously I dont know, but perhaps it is the menthol.
Here is a suggestion..and it sounds crazy, but you may be surprised, that flavourless e liquid is actually really nice. I get just as much satisfaction from flavourless e liquid, as I do flavoured stuff. And there is an added bonus that it means your atties last forever.

Here is a cravings time table, if you can get through the first 21 days, it sounds like the battle is won. It is based on one that was made for people quitting smoking, but with just the parts relevant to nicotine ref... after 24 hours - anxiety peaks, within two weeks anxiety levels should return to near pre-cessation levels after 72 hours - entire body is nicotine free, Symptoms of chemical withdrawal have peaked in intensity, including restlessness. The number of cue induced crave episodes experienced during any quitting day will peak for the "average" ex-user. after 5-8 days - most will encounter an "average" of three cue induced crave episodes per day. Although we may not be "average" and although serious cessation time distortion can make minutes feel like hours, it is unlikely that any single episode will last longer than 3 minutes. Keep a clock handy and time them. after 10 days - The "average" ex-user is down to encountering less than two crave episodes per day, each less than 3 minutes. after 2-4 weeks - Cessation related anger, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, impatience, insomnia, restlessness and depression should have ended. after 21 days - Brain acetylcholine receptor counts that were up-regulated in response to nicotine's presence have now down-regulated and receptor binding has returned to normal levels
