There is certainly a bit of extra clutter, can't disagree with you there Bobsbeer I am also heartened that we seem to be different in our likes and dislikes. Each to his or her own, and as you rightly say, that's what makes vaping so much more interesting. I hate to think how much crap I've accumulated with drawers full of original boxes, wick, wire, driptips, etc., to say nothing of all the concentrates, maturing juices, ready-to-vape juices, and tanks and mods. One day I'll induce the wrath of my OH and get it all out in one place - on second thoughts, no I won't, instant divorce!

I'm not an expert of drippers, but there are plenty of good clones around which will cost you less than a tenner. If you are happy to wait for delivery from the likes of Fasttech, then the prices drop even further. Some ideas for you to consider; these can all be single- or double-coiled depending on your wishes and experience: Velocity Plume VeilBuddha - this one is a larger diameter, but gives loads more room to work on the deck when building your coils. Hope this helps, I'm sure more experienced drippers than I will chip in soon too!

A few vendors are posting their GC-MS results, worth looking on sites to see if they have. You want to look for both Diacetyl and Aectylpropinyl. ***Two liquids by RUTHLESS have recently been pulled for high Diacetyl - Menage a Trois and Creamsicle***That's a shame, I like the Menage a Trois - but should we really worry that much, *-SARIN-*!?

Nic base will be our biggest challenge. I really can't see that Chinese vendors will stop sending us 'gifts' or 'electrical components' if they can still make money from us. PG, VG, food flavourings, wire, wick and even RTAs and RDAs will all still be purchasable, but Nic base could be problematical in the longer term. What we are not addressing here though is the impact that the TPD will have on new vapers, and those still to renounce the evil weed. For new vapers of the future, they will be severely curtailed in the devices and methodology which they will be able to access, and this is the crying shame; we have a great marketplace which currently caters for all vapers new and old, but in 18 months time things will look very different, a change for the worse not the better. I don't want to be overly pessimistic, but I really can't see the TPD as a positive thing for current smokers

Interesting question to ask yourgurnard - as of today, I really like the Billow (sorry, blakey!), and am in the process of falling in love with my new TFV4, although the coils haven't yet bedding in properly. I am also a recent convert to Subtanks (sorry, decoy!), and have two Minis and a Plus for out and about! Hate? Nothing much really, although I was underwhelmed with my Smok M80 mod; kept misreading power and watts, and the battery would step down under half-charge, so that is relegated to the 'Not Much Use' drawer. I am also disappointed with the Goblins that I have; they are superb tanks, but I just can't stop them leaking, and for that reason they are also in the NMU drawer.

I'm off with my best mate to do a gruelling 7-mile cast path walk tomorrow - 7 miles doesn't sound much but the up and down route is tough! We're taking two cars, parking one at each end so we can walk one-way; I think the return journey would kill us both! Looking forward to it though, see the sea and have man's gossip and a couple of flasked coffee stops - perfect!! I know what you mean though lobeydosser, there are times when I wish I could do what I used to do, but that was tobacco fuelled, so maybe I am not so badly off fitness-wise as I think! Get up into them thar hills, boy!

I know how you feel lobeydosser; recently we lost a couple of old (early 1800s) terraced cottages which had originally been built to house local tin and copper miners and their families. They too had fallen into disrepair, and despite attempts to sell them to developers, they were knocked down about 8 months ago. A local property developer bought the land, and we all feared the worst, but the two new houses he has built are very much in character in the village, finished in granite and slate, and almost look better than the original buildings. The best news is that both have been sold to local young families who are now moved in and enjoying village life; they are no more than two minutes walk from the school, shop, playing fields and pub (when the kids are old enough!), so hopefully these new dwellings will serve their intended purpose for many years to come, and will be an inspiration to others wishing to modernise sympathetically. Next time I walk past and think about it, I'll take some photos to share.
