Hi, My son brought me a little present in hospital today. It's a passthrough that does away with the battery alltogether. It works OK but now for my question. It's variable voltage, 3, 3.6, 4.2 and 4.8 with the led flashing a different colour to show the different voltages. I have tried all of them and although there is slightly more vapour the higher the voltage there is no difference in TH or taste. I can live with it as it means not having to mess with batteries while in hospital but is there anything I'm missing? After all, there should be some difference, shouldn't there? Phil

Hi, Due to chemo side effects I have ended up back in hospital. Basicaly I felt so sick I couldn't eat or drink anything for 5 or 6 days and nothing in, nothing out. Severe constipation with nothing happening for over a week. I saw an on call doctor at my surgery and the silly cow gave me some antibiotics where what I really needed was a jetwash or a depth charge. I was in so much pain by Wednesday evening that I booked myself into A&E and have been here since. The good news. They have no problems with me vaping either in the trauma unit or on the ward itself. The on call doc asked me if I was still smoking and when I told her that I had been on the ecigs for 15 months she said the next step was giving these the push. I asked her if there was any reason to do so and the only thing she could think of was the expense so I dropped the bombshell that I has saved £2,500 since switching. She then admitted that there was nothing wrong with me vaping for the rest of my life if that's what I wanted. Phil

Hi, Up until now I have been using a 500mah mains to usb adapter along with the charger that came with my ego type batteries. They seem to take hours to charge. I have been given a 2amp adapter. Will this charge my batteries faster or will it cook them? Phil

Hi, I started on cigalikes and stuck with them for 6 months before moving up to a 510/ego setup. The biggest complaint I have with the cigalikes is that the vendor I use insists online and in emails to me when I place my orders that the cartomisers are NOT refillable. If I stuck to their instructions I would have spent more on ecigs than baccy. Thankfully I discovered this forum and watched some videos on Utube and cut my expenses by a huge amount. Phil

Hi Neil, Thanks for the info. I can see now how the mix up happened and will let the guy who is selling them know. Phil

This is probably worth watching philh Hi womble, I've been using it all evening and now that the leak has stopped it is working perfectly for me. I certainly don't get the dry hits he's talking about even though I am chain vaping. Maybe his lungs are bigger than mine and he is putting more load on it than me. Phil

It's this I take it philh? ecignet.co.uk/129-vcore20-clear.htmlHaven't any personal experience, but I'd imagine you could use the top part just as a dripper and also fill the bottom tank when you want a larger volume of liquid. So they're both right really. No ideas on the leaks though, other than to make sure everything is put together securely. Hi Perpetua, Yes that's the one. I suppose it could be used as a dripper but it would be a bit of a faff unscrewing the top chamber every time you wanted to add a few drops. Foot in the mouth moment again, it's stopped leaking now the top chamber is empty (I did fill both). May be OK after all, Phil

Hi, I buy quite a few bits and pieces from a local market trader and up until today have had no problems. I bought a VCore2.0 tank and the guy said that the top tank was there so you could use a different flavour without mixing externally. Looking on Utube I learn that this chamber was the vapour chamber where the "magic" happens. Who's right? As well as that, it leaks from somewhere near the bottom. Any ideas?> Thanks in advance. Phil

Hi Raffles, Hospital is not a good experience for kids (been there, done that, myself, my kids and now my grandkids) but if you take the time to listen to them and explain what is going on they usually come out of it OK. I'm glad your little one is on the mend and will make a full recovery before too long. Phil Thanks philh... but he's not a youngster, he's in his 30s... but you still think of them as kids, and just want to take the pain away. Seen him today, all plastered up and arm in a sling. But he's still 'my little boy'. My little boy will be 40 next year but as you say I hate anything bad happening to him. Phil

Hi Karma, I'm seeing the top man on Monday so I'll be asking him for advice then. The biggest problem was my being unable to eat anything or drink more than a t-spoon of even water or milk without it hurting like h£ll on the way down. Taking my last dose of tablets (12) before bed took more than an hour and even then some of them made the big white telephone before they dissolved. Phil

Hi folks, Just a little update. I was due to have my last chemo session on Wednesday but the results from 2 blood tests showed that one of the blood levels was so low they've had to postpone it for a week. I knew there was something wrong just from the way I was feeling, no strength or energy, no motivation and very severe heartburn and/or trapped wind. It got so bad that I haven't eaten anything for over a week and everything I drank hurt or burnt on the way down. Today I got up feeling a lot better and managed a chicken cup a soup for dinner and managed to keep it down. I'll have another one for tea and maybe try some tea and toast for supper. If anyone had told me that the chemo would have made me feel as ill as it did I seriously would have looked for some other treatment. Onwards and upwards from now on. (I hope) Phil
